Acceptance of Terms

By using askOga you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

Description of Service

askOga is a direction service. It matches a trending format against what you have told us about your life and what you are willing to do on camera, then writes a shoot you can carry out: a script, a shot list, timing, framing and a caption.

It is not a guarantee of an audience. Nothing we send promises views, followers, income or any other outcome, and any figures shown on our site are examples rather than expectations.

Account Registration

Some parts of askOga need an account. You are responsible for what happens under yours, and for keeping access to it secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.

Acceptable Use

Do not use askOga to harass or defame anyone, to fabricate events and present them as real, to impersonate a person or organisation, or to produce material that is unlawful where you are.

askOga refuses some requests by design. It will not write manufactured outrage, invented grievances against real people, calls to pile on someone, or fake personal stories presented as true. This is a product decision as much as a legal one, and it is not negotiable by asking differently.

You are responsible for what you actually post. A direction is a suggestion; publishing it is your act, under the rules of whichever platform you publish to.

Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. Prices are shown before you pay.

Review billing period, renewal, cancellation and refund terms all need real answers before any money changes hands, and Nigerian consumer rules may set a floor on some of them.

Content and Ownership

What you tell us stays yours. The directions askOga writes for you are yours to use, post, change or ignore, including commercially, with no obligation to credit us.

We keep ownership of askOga itself: the software, the interface and the underlying system. Nothing here transfers that to you.

You grant us permission to use what you tell us for the purpose of running the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

We aim to keep askOga running, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we are shutting the service down we will give you notice and a way to take your data with you.

Termination

You can stop using askOga at any time and close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks the acceptable-use section, and other than for serious misuse we will tell you why.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

askOga is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Review a lawyer should set the liability cap and confirm this survives under Nigerian law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continuing to use askOga after a change takes effect means you accept the revised version, and we will give notice of material changes rather than relying on you noticing.
